Lamesa is a Filipino restaurant located in downtown Toronto. Their food is not traditional Filipino but rather Filipino inspired. Their style is shaped by their environment and where and how they grew up. They take a regional approach to the cuisine. Each of the 7000+ islands in the Philippines has developed their own style based on their customs, surroundings and what is locally available. For them, Toronto is just another island.
