
The International Building Maintenance Academy Inc. is registered as a private career college under The Private Career Colleges Act, 2005. The school offers the Building Maintenance program. It is approved as a vocational program under The Private Career Colleges Act, 2005. The program helps students succeed in the trade, the founder has incorporated extraordinary effort into the Building Maintenance Program Manual used in the school.
IBMA was founded by Mr. Ricky Manrique. His concept of training “Potential Superintendents” in 2005 started at as a Live-in Superintendent himself. Ricky Manrique was a practicing Engineer. He also has experience as Property, Maintenance and Engineering Manager back in Philippines and used the knowledge he accumulated through the years to mentor those who have shown interest in the field of Building Maintenance. With his determination and motivation he was able to network and create relationships with more than 100 property management companies.
Approved as a vocational program under The Private Career Colleges Act, 2005
The program offers student a clear and cohesive introduction to the functions and responsibilities of the building superintendent, covering both important skills and accountability.
Students will be trained the right attitude and skill sets to perform effectively in the job as:
A Live-in or Live-out Building Superintendents, or
A Resident Manager, or
An Assistant Resident Manager, or
A Maintenance Technician and/or
A Building Operator and/or
An Operations or Property Manager
Upon completion of this program, the students will receive a diploma. The graduates will also have an opportunity to access more than 100 property management companies that was gained through more than a decade of networking by the founder.
